A talented hockey player has lost his life after jumping 20 metres from a bridge as his friends watched on and filmed the daylight stunt.
Emergency services pulled the body of Dalton Casey from the Murray River four hours after he leapt from a bridge in Blanchtown, north east of Adelaide, on Sunday.
The 20-year-old - described as one of the most talented hockey players in South Australia - completed the dangerous jump around a year ago, but his friends said they knew something was wrong this time when he did not surface.

MTV Russia will stop airing in mid-2013 due to falling ratings, the holding company that controls the music channel has confirmed.
"It's true, as of June 1, 2013, MTV will be replaced by a new entertainment channel for young people called 'Pyatnitsa' [Friday]," ProfMedia president Nikolai Kartozia told Kommersant in an interview published Tuesday.
Unidentified sources had predicted the station's closure in a report that appeared in the Vedomosti business daily Dec. 6.

The fiscal year 2020 “minibus” spending bill signed into law by President Trump Dec. 20 that provides $22.63 billion for NASA includes $35.6 million to start development of the Near Earth Object (NEO) Surveillance Mission.
