Firefighters extinguish pallets that burned outside Home Depot in Kahului on Friday afternoon. Kahului engine, tanker and hazmat companies responded to the 1:07 p.m. call and quickly extinguished the three stacks of pallets that were burning in an outside bay area on the south side of the store, according to the Maui Fire Department. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
